I'm an editor, writer, and historian. I'm currently a Senior Editor at Dissent, and a Lecturer in History of Science at Harvard University. 

​I'm also a Contributing Editor to the Boston Review, and have written for publications such as the Washington Post, n+1, and Parapraxis.

My academic work centers on the history of the modern human sciences and political economy. My current book project, The Wanting Animal: A History of the Sciences of Desire, is under contract at the University of Chicago Press. 

I received my PhD in History of Science and Medicine from Yale, and was previously Visiting Research Scholar at Duke University's Center for the History of Political Economy in 2022–23.​
