I'm a historian and writer; my work centers on the history of the modern human sciences and political economy.
I am a Lecturer in History of Science at Harvard University. I received my PhD in History of Science and Medicine from Yale, and was previously Visiting Research Scholar at Duke University's Center for the History of Political Economy in 2022–23. I am a Contributing Editor to the Boston Review and an Editor at the History of Anthropology Review. I've also written about issues relating to my work for publications such as the Washington Post, n+1, and New Inquiry.
